The Finnish design company Marimekko designed the Google Doodle for the celebration of the equinox today! How wonderful :)
This change of season Google doodle is a result of a creative collaboration by eight Finnish designers: Maija Isola, Kristina Isola, Erja Hirvi, Maija Louekari, Aino-Maija Metsola, Teresa Moorhouse, Jenni Tuominen and Katsuji Wakisaka.
The idea of coming up with a Marimekko designed Google doodle came when Marissa Mayer, vice president at Google, visited Marimekko’s textile printing factory in Helsinki.
